Australia has just launched its latest touristic campaign and its taking the world by storm. The tourism department of Australia will start in May the search for a person who will “work” in the “the best job in the world.” The job description: Experience the Great Barrier Reef for six months. It’s not going to be a survivor like competition but the winner gets to stay a picturesque three-bedroom house by the beach for free with all his or her needs met. The pay: 150,000 Australian dollars or US$105,000. The best part of this campaign is that this is open to everyone. You don’t have to be an Australian as all they require is the ability to speak the English language well.

The winner will be swimming, enjoying the lifestyle in Queensland and from time to time snorkel. A small task of blogging, taking photos and videoblogging will also be required from time to time. For six months, you’ll practically become a beach bum with a six-digit salary.

This latest stint of the tourism industry hopes to attract young individuals who wanted to experience and represent the beauty of Australia. They are particularly looking for someone who can communicate with the world and have that charisma to draw tourists to the beautiful islands of Australia.

Six applicants will be selected from the online application website. The winner will start experiencing the “best job in the world” on the 1st for July. So if you don’t have plans for the second half of the year, consider this job in Australia.
