Countries may have different traditions on how they celebrate Easter but this is how the Germans celebrate this holiday.

In Germany, they have Easter on Good Friday and not during the Easter Sunday. During Good Fridays, they eat fish as part of the feast. Also, they have their Easter lunch where they feast on Easter Eggs as well as a cake shaped as lambs. They also have some cookies and chocolates.

Some Germans also burn old Christmas trees as their version of welcoming the spring. They also have Easter egg hunts where children have a great time. They also have the Chocolate kiss game as Easter eggs and chocolates are important to Germans. During Maundy Thursday they use green Easter eggs.

Before Holy Week even begins in Germany, they welcome it by having Fasching, a special carnival. They have a parade each year where people with masks parade the streets while showing off their different masks.

They also have huge bonfires during the Easter eves and they let the kids light up these bonfires as the adults watch and celebrate the evening.

Easter in Germany is fun and exciting and it’s really an event that they celebrate. It’s fun not just for kids but adults have a great time celebrating Easter. After all, Easter has a very symbolic meaning not just to the Germans but to all Christians in the world and it should be well celebrated.

When looking for a city that is fun to visit, as well as has a deep history, Berlin is the place to go. Berlin, Germany is full of, not only tons of historical sites, but it’s home to some of the best architecture you will ever find. While in Berlin you will be able to enjoy eating some of the best food in the world while seeing tons of entertainment. Also, Berlin is very well known for their world class beers. There is a lot to see and do here, so you will not want to miss it!

One of the most visited places by tourists is the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. This was made public back in 2005, and ever since then has been a hot spot for tourists. Although it is a dark reminder of World War II, it also serves as a place to take in a bit of history.

From there you can make your way to the East Side Gallery. This is a big mile long stretch of the Berlin wall that is still standing. There are a lot of emotional statements written on the wall, and it will evoke a lot of different feelings in the people who see it. Although this wall has a bad past, it now severs as a national landmark.

Most people head over to the Charlottenburg Palace from there. This is a palace that was actually built in the 17th century. A guided tour of this palace is not necessary at all. However, it is recommended that you take your time walking through it so you can be sure not to miss any of the great artifacts that are there.
