Guatemala is known around the world for its natural splendours. People love to go to this area for many reasons, but one of the main ones is because of its deep Mayan culture. This is the one place in the world that allows you to take a glimpse back to the world of the Mayans. This includes their architecture among other things. Also in this area, you are going to find some of the best lush volcanoes that loom as high as the eye can see.
From there you can head over to the city of Chichicastenango. This is a place that has a great open air market that sits next to the blue waters of Lake Atitlan. So all of this sounds pretty good, does it not? However, that is not all you are going to want to do when you are in Guatemala.
