Saw – The Ride
Based on a very popular horror movie franchise, “Saw – The Ride” combines the themes from the movie with a thrilling rollercoaster. Located in Thorpe Park, riders will go through speeds of up to 55mph or 89kph. Opening in 2009 the ride has continued to attract the attention of park visitors because of its unique concept. There’s even a venue where riders can bring home a video of their experience while riding the movie themed coaster.
Nemesis in Alton Towers
Alton Towers in Staffordshire is well known for their innovations in rollercoaster rides. But their most popular ride is also their scariest. The Nemesis is not just your regular rollercoaster since it’s an inverted rollercoaster – the first in Europe. Since 1994, the rollercoaster continues to provide thrills and scares to its riders simply because of the possibility of an inverted ride with maximum speed of up to 80kph.
Silver Star in Europa Park
The Silver Star first opened its doors to riding public in 2002 and it still one of the scariest rides in the world. With speed of up to 130kph, it’s very easy for the riders to experience 4G speed. One part of the rollercoaster rises to 239 feet with 4G vertical force drop. Europa Park is located in Rust, Germany.
