Kos has a healing dream (or sleep) temple of Asclepius which is believed to be founded after Hippocrates – the father of medicine – died. Hippocrates is thought to have been born on Kos island where you will also find the oldest tree in Europe – The Plane Tree of Hippocrates. It is believed that lectures were held by Hippocrates under this tree. The old branches of this impressive tree are held by scaffolding, but it’s worth a visit and lots of pictures.
The resort of Kardamena is very popular with British tourists. Spiritual tourists can visit the Orthodox cathedral in Zia or a mosque catering to the muslim population of Kos.

The historical name of the place was Tomis was a Greek colony founded around 600 BC – this is the place where Ovid was exiled. The city was later named Constantia after the name of Constantine The Great’s half sister.
The city is the oldest in Romania and is located in Dobruja region, on the Black Sea coast.
The best time to be in Constanta is the summer. Grab a chair on the beach and enjoy the heat, the sun and the sea. After you cool down in the waves of the Black Sea you can walk around The Casino – a beautiful art nouveau building which is representative for the city. Later in the evening you can have dinner in an open air restaurants on the old streets of the city or you can head to a club and party until morning.

The juries are from different countries and they will choose the best performances, best director, best actress, best actor, best puppet designer, best original music, best scenery or best traditional performance.

Abu Simbel is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the southern area of Egypt. It is home of the temples and structures dedicated to Pharaoh Ramessess II and Queen Nefertiti. This site was originally built for two reasons – first was to impress the gods and the second reason was to prove Egypt’s dominance over their enemies with their capabilities to built massive structures.
There are two temples found in Abu Simbel, the larger temple is dedicated to three gods (Amun, Ptah and Ra-Harakhty). The smaller temple is dedicated to Hathor. The larger temple is more popular because they feature four statues of the great pharaoh, located on the façade of the temple. Each temple features remarkable carvings that practically tell the history of Ancient Egypt as well as their practices.

Machu Picchu is one of the most popular tourist destinations of South America. It’s actually said to be the site of the ancient city of the Incas. It is located just near Cuzco, Peru.
Actually, Machu Picchu was discovered just in the 20th century, particularly in 1911 but they say it was only “rediscovered”. Machu Picchu is a thousand feet above the river of Urubamba and it’s the end point of the Inca Trail. It’s also now a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There are lots of places to see in Machu Picchu and you can travel around the site by bus but it’s best that you wake up early so you would get the first bus that runs before 6 in the morning. In Machu Picchu, whether you have a tour guide or not, make sure you visit the Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana, the Main Temple, the Temple of the 3 Windows and Condor.
