When going to the Philippines, be sure to always wear light cotton clothing no matter what time of the year it is. The Philippines are hot and dry during the summer. The temperatures can stay between 78 and 90 degrees, but it’s the humidity of 77% that gets most people.

If you choose to go between June and October, you need to bring an umbrella and other rain gear. That is because this is the rainy season for the Philippines, and it will rain a lot. This goes double for people who are going to be staying in the mountainous areas.

The best time to visit the Philippines is during January, May or December. They have a ton of great festivals that go on during these times, and travellers are welcome.

Also, do not be afraid of not being able to keep in touch with people when you are in the Philippines. This is because the hotels in this area are equipped with internet and phone, so you can keep your friends and family updated.
